SAFMA calls out to all local photographers interested in representing the Maldives in the regional arena by forming the local branch of its Photgraphers Association.

Isn't this Photographers association just a flickr group? Is there any requirement for joining them? Any qualifications? Should there be a portfolio of work? Journalistic background? Can a two year old join it? Should one be a flickr member to join it? Can anyone who own a 0.3MP mobile phone camera join them? Would this undermine those who have been trained as photographers? Please clear this out.
